Tobias Langenegger Wins Young Researcher Award

Tobias Langenegger, researcher and doctoral candidate at NECOM, wins the 2017 GDN Springer Young Researcher Award at the 17th International Conference on Group Decision and Negotiation (GDN) in Stuttgart, Germany.

He receives this award for the paper “Micro-Level Perspective on Sanction Conflicts: An Agent-Based Simulation Approach”, which he presented at the GDN conference at the University of Hohenheim, Stuttgart, Germany. In his paper he introduces an agent-based model of a sanction conflict, which allows studying conflict dynamics over many rounds as well as the emergence of negotiation solutions.
