Tobias Langenegger Wins Young Researcher Award

NECOM researcher and doctoral candidate Tobias Langenegger won the 2016 GDN Springer Young Researcher Award (Runner Up) at the 16th International Conference on Group Decision and Negotiation (GDN) in Bellingham, USA.

He received this award for the paper “A Sequential Repeated Sanction Model Exemplified by the Case of Iran”, which he presented at the GDN conference at the Western Washington University in Bellingham, USA. In his paper he presents a new model of economic sanction in international conflicts. He illustrates underlying mechanisms and explores emerging conflict dynamics as well as the influences on a negotiation.
